It is with much sadness and deep regret to have to give you this news. These shows and festivals and the fellowship with the members brought us a lot of joy and made memories that will last a lifetime. But it is absolutely necessary, so here goes:

Due to a succession of circumstances beyond our control, the Red River Valley Bluegrass club is now inactive. Lack of funds and loss of venue are the main factors involved in this decision. This means no monthly shows and no festival. The Canton Bluegrass Music Association is adding our newsletter recipients to theirs and each of you will recieve their newsletter instead of Red River Valley Bluegrass Club newsletter. Their's is a quarterly newletter and the next issue will be in November. Brenda Burks will be the editor of that newsletter now. You can still use the address below if you have any questions.
